Crown Point Can Drive for the 4th of July
SouthLake Cares is teaming up with the Crown Point Community Foundation to collect food for our local pantries. Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food and household items to Crown Point’s Fourth of July Parade. Our float will be the mobile collection site, and all donations will be distributed among food pantries serving our community. Click Here for a list of needed items and more information.

A quick look around our community gives the impression that we’re all doing pretty well, but a closer look reveals that many struggle every month to make ends meet. Thankfully, there is a good network of service agencies throughout south Lake County who help families in need. But these agencies can’t do it alone—they need our help!

SouthLake Cares helps people pass over some sort of obstacle: a valley, a rough road, a crisis. Our mission is simple: to help bridge the gaps in our community by supporting existing service agencies. You can make a difference by partnering with us.

You Can Help!
Become part of the collection network by inviting your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to help bridge the gap for the needy.
